“Building Confidence One Stride At A Time”

Our Services

  • Therapeutic Riding Lessons

Our TR Lessons enhance your child’s emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being. They address and work to improve your child’s mental, emotional and physical health, while riding one of our equine partners through a series of specially designed arena exercises known as “Conqueror Courses”.

SES TR lessons best serve youth battling anxiety, fear, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, low self-esteem, as well as children on the Autism Spectrum. TR lessons are a beautiful way for your child to build community and gain an awesome support network of friends and mentors! Healing happens together.

  • Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL)

SES EAL is an educational and experiential series of sessions that seeks to develop life-skills for educational and personal growth goals through unmounted exercises with the child and horse. EAL helps your child to develop meaningful strategies to be successful in daily tasks and responsibilities.

  • Riding Lessons

    Fun, Friends, and HORSES!

If your child is looking to have fun, make friends, and ride, then our riding lessons are for you! We offer both Western and English riding lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Our instructors are skilled in teaching from a centered-riding philosophy, and will give your child an excellent foundation. We want to set your child up for success in whichever discipline they chose to pursue long term, while building their confidence and skill-set.

  • Horsemanship Lessons

Strengthen Communication. Understand the Psychology. Enhance your Training.

Our horsemanship classes will help you to become a stronger leader, communicator, and horse trainer through a series of groundwork exercises. We explore each horses psychology, and how it impacts their movement. These sessions are meant to address the strengths and weaknesses in both horse and rider.

Please note these classes are unmounted only. We offer this class to both horse owners and non-horse owners.

  • Summer Camp

SES Summer Camps take place during June and July. We offer Beginner, Advanced, and Obstacle Camps. Campers practice horsemanship, play games, ride, attend bible study, and cool down with afternoon water activities! Our campers are HANDS ON. From the moment they arrive, they are helping with horse care, barn chores, and preparing for their lessons. Our goal is for our campers to leave with big smiles and a higher HORSE IQ. At the end of each camp we host a show for family and friends to come and see what the campers practiced all week!

  • Private Lessons

SES offers private lessons for therapeutic riding, horsemanship lessons, and regular riding lessons. If your child benefits from an individual attention based setting then this is a great option for you!

  • EAA MISD School Program

An MISD school counselor selects a group of junior high and high school students to participate in a year-long Equine-Assisted Activities program. Students address educational, and personal growth goals that help them to be successful in both the classroom and home enviornments. At this time, students in this program must attend an MISD school site.
